If these changes are brought in then you have the right for industrial action, the new changes will serve no one, not even royal mail let alone the public and other businesses so if you all feel strongly about it consult your rep and if you want to fight against these studpid changes then i suggest you do so, quick! You won't be the only office as many more will come out over this stupid deal that the cwu made. Delivery staff should have had a seperate vote and if we had it would have been a different story

We were shown the menu of options for 1 Sat in 4 and voted unaminously to stay as we are - the only bloke who wanted it was the rep, it was something like 40-1 against. Mainly becasue we were told that we wouldnt get the long weekend, just the sat. And that we`d have to do extra IPS / lapse 8 duties / prep extra 8 duties, and work longer hrs on the sats we ended up working (so 3 out of 4) - as there wasnt more funding available to cover these duties ,we had to cover them ourselves. The rep didnt have one thing to say as to why we should say yes, so we didnt !

Told him some of the lads, myself included, needed family friendly, to which he looked at the gaffer and said that definitely needs to be included the pref exercise.

Right the times you recieve your mail was out last week your rep or dom should have posted it up, its YOUR revision not your doms make it work for you not them, if your rep won't do it get onto the area rep, ive had a look at ours and its looking like a 2.30 finish not 3. Dont let them bully you.

They even have an example of a later than 0700 full-time start in their shiny booklet "new duty structures".

09:00 to 10:35 – Prepare and merge own delivery
10:35 to 11:15 – Meal relief
11:15 to 11:30 – Travel to delivery start

Well I would contact your area rep or div rep - though in your case jimmy he may well be one and the same person, there seems to be a little confusion on that score - he seems to be well versed in how not to get back to you with any useful information - though it's only from an outsiders perspective.
