BTW discussion

I had a week on the sick about 2 months ago, Sill have not had back to work discussion.....

Could i deny i was ever off in the first place and what proof do they have that i was?

Nice try....you are not the first to think like this but it's all logged in the system both at your D.O. and in Sheffield.
Having said that i had a weeks holiday followed by a weeks sick a few years ago and no-one twigged because i hadn't phoned in.....i wouldn't advise anyone to try it though as the procedure for reporting sick absence is much tighter now.
They will probably remember your BTW around....Christmas.

we had a guy sleep in.when the DIM phoned him he just said he had a leau day booked

Keep quiet about the lack of a Btw interview. If a stage ever comes through you can argue the following how can you be punished under the procedure when they have not followed it, Royal Mail are supposed to be a caring employee and the btw interview is to show your return is valued and you are fit to do your duties, plus they should make you aware of the stages and consequences if you fall short of them. The fact that they have not done this can give a rep something to argue later
