D2Ds arriving late

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.

1 lot of D2Ds didnt arrive until wednesday this week. Not mine but other peoples.

DOM says they can be carried over into next week for completion. I disagree.

Who is right???

You are, people have paid for the D2Ds to be delivered in a specific week and the DOM should have them delivered by Saturday even if it means paying someone to just deliver them.

The DOM. The disposition of D2D is covered by 16% per day, if they arrive late then the DOM uses his power of discretion.

Well - the proof of the pudding etc - we had the same situation last week - and you've guessed it - the same solution, but by agreement and quite rightly so, now the question is what would happen on a Wednesday specific, that arrives on Thursday.......................... it won't happen I hear you say - .................yes of course it will - deliver on Thursday or admit to the customer it was a busted flush?

Weve got sod all in place. Rep is off sick,and we have a temporary dom while we await the arrival of our new dom.

POSTCOMM have not classed DTD as mail, its simply a internal RML procedure to treat as normal mail.

As I posted yesterday d2d arrived special delivery, what happens to floaters 16% I'll tell you f#ck all plus half the rest may be done next week although I would' nt hold my breath.

Same where I work. The more Door To Doors there are the higher the failure rate.

Just do your 1/6th per day minimum, if they come in on tuesday for delivery start on your 2/6th & leave the DOM find someone on O/T to deliver 1/6th......Stop being mugs to these morons.
