We have a big problem at our DO with smelly people. Im talking about bad body oder. One of the gaffers is the worst culprit he stinks to high heaven,(f**k knows how). As we hav'nt got any proper ventilation or air con in our DO its becoming abit of an issue now with smelly people. I remember working at another place the once and a young girl was sent home for humming and told to have a bath and put clean clothes on. She was upset but it had to be done. So can RM send people home for smelling?? If so how, cause one of the gaffers is the biggest culprit, or do RM have a different rule to this than the rest of the british companies???

yuck, probably can't smell it off themselves. Can u carry some perfume/aftershave with you and spray it all about ureself just so u can't smell them?

It's not unreasonable for an employer to ask workers (whether employee or management) to meet the company's standards in appearance and personal hygiene.

What about the people who DELIBERATELY make everyone else put up with their Flatulence pong. We have one such person at our office who is constantly doing this and who thinks it is funny. The rest of us are getting sick of it so one of the posties produced an air freshener spray and sprayed around him every time it happened. He had the cheek to complain about her and said that she had no right to be doing that to anyone in the office!!!!

Just apply a blowtorch to his nether regions when he lets rip. It'll burn off the methane quick enough, just be careful not to set light to him at the same time - - - - oh, I don't know.
