Rehab plan?

I am just coming back to normal duties, gradually, with a fit note that says back to normal duties over a six week period. I am a part timer on 25 hours. I have been on amended duties which will now be categorised as rehab over the next 6 weeks. My manager wants me to still come in at 7 (normally start at 9) and do indoor duties on top of the part out door duty. That is no major problem except he will also be farming me out to another office on Saturday to start at 6 and do whatever needs doing there. That seems to be serving their own needs. Should I contact ATOS and get a cast iron plan that they can't interpret to suit their own needs.

Yes. if they are f***ing you about get a cast iron plan from ATOS. Get union rep involved too. they do take the p1ss on light duties, I think they try to make it so sh1t you decide you want to get back on normal duties.

tell your manager you're not happy with the way your rehab plan is panning out and you want another appointment with ATOS. i did this a few weeks ago, and manager decided it'd be better, and cheaper, for him to work out a plan with me whcih I was happy with.

i think an appointmnent with ATOS eats into the office budget, and we all know this is the way to a manager's heart.

If they are farming you out to other offices just make sure that you are at your own office for start of your rehab shift. They have to transport you and bring you back within your time. That normally stops that kind of sh*te from happening

GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!!!

I was told I was on a rehab plan etc. All agreed with my DOM. Got f*cked about something chronic by another manager who just kept saying "I don't know what you agreed". So I'd tell him and he'd reply "I don't know what you agreed". Argh!!

In my B&H complaint against that manager, it came to light that there was no rehab plan in place, nothing in my file, nothing noted down as to what I had agreed to do with my DOM.

Thanks, phoned ATOS yesterday to see if anything was in place as a result they are ringing me this morning so should have something concrete. Do they phone the manager as soon as they have a plan in place?

I never saw the email. My requests to see it were ignored until I eventually gave up. My rehab plan that I agreed initially with my manager was never written down. It was only when I was referred back to ATOS (when the manager said I was doing "less work") that something was written down. It was then taken to the letter by said manager, regardless of how much pain I was in. I then ended up off work with stress because of the constant battling against the manager.
