Does anybody have access to a Military leave document detailing what I am entitled to, it has to be official, so I can show my DOM, he is a little clueless on Military matters and said he has to ring a helpline to find out if I am entitled to it
All special leaves now has to go through the DOM, instead of the old practice of a Lino filing it in and I pass it on to the PHG in charge of leave and staffing, both of them know about me and has gone though every year.
in fact they would be glad to have me out of their hair for 2 weeks

Tell him to look on intranet, go to hr help then page for special leave comes under special leave c should get upto 20 days paid per year, 10 for summer camp and remainder for weekends, he is entitled to ask for a letter from your psao stating its for mandatory training, hope it helps good luck!

Brave Bunch of highly committed and professional soldiers in my honest opinion. Had dealings with them on 3 active service tours and never a bad experience not even one. They were always ready to go on a casevac at seconds notice, yet in the bar usually the friendliest and most approachable you could meet.

Maybe this will help. Here is a link to a web site called Support For British Reservists (SRBRE). Show this to you Boss and he may understand better. Royal Mail should understand TA/Reservists very well as many Posties serve with TA Postal Units and get time off for deployments and for training. Hope you get time off. As I am an Ex Squaddy i support you all the way.
