Can I request a new p60??

I have lost the one they sent me, at least I think I lost it,dont actually remember getting it.

If you have lost your P60 then there is only one way to get an accepted replacement.

You need to write to your employer and request a ’statement of earnings’ on company headed paper.

Your employer is required under the Data Protection Act to provide this information, though they can charge a small administration fee for doing so, but this is not usually the norm.

Its to send off my Child Tax Credit renewal, I think I only need my yearly earnings, or am i wrong???

Just phone tax credits up,i've never sent them my p60,well not for the last few years anyway.They will take what you say on the phone/internet.

Do you keep your old payslips?

Payment date 1/4/2010 is for week 52 (last for the tax year) and shows total Assessable Pay and Tax Paid in the bottom left-hand corner.

Nearest I could find was week 49.

Guess then,add 3 weeks onto it,they only ask what you earnt and what you think you will earn next year.

Just phone the Tax Credits its so much easier but you have to be Mystic Meg to work out what you will earn next year. If you really need a copy of your P60 ring wages and they will put you through or give you a phone number to ring an office in Bristol who will send previous/current P60's out to you.

If you need proof of earnings, Payroll type people can provide that for you.

They provided me with proof of earnings when I had to send it off for my mortgage people. They wrote a nice letter and everyfink :)

Yes,if you're out a bit it won't kill you.
