compassionate leave?

my hubby works for royal mail and his mum has just passed away on holiday, he has flown to be with his dad as they have been told it will be atleast 7 days before they can bring her body home, after they get home they will have to make the funeral arrangements, does anyone know what his entitlement is for compassionate leave?

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I have just had to had 5 days compasionate leave, and am pleased to report that my managers couldn't have been more helpful, they even allowed me to split the days off to suit myself.
