MC closing

I no its got nothin to do with the topic heading, but can anyone tell me if this is fair our mail centre is closing in august-sept and moving to a new centre. there our around 350 postman workin there and about 300 have already gone leavin around 50 staff not including distibution drivers etc.when this new delivery methods comes in there is a lot off full time drivers going to lose there duty due to the van share and stuff as they will not be needed no more.i have found out that there have been driving vacancys in the mail centre and they have been givin to mail centre staff because all vacancys in the MC were took up. why couldnt they have give those vacancys to the drivers who our losing there duty in LDOS instead of givin them to posties who never drove a van just to fill the numbers up in the mail centre. by the way i am not a driver i just dont think this is right
