Scam emails.
Just checking through my emails today and noticed two apparently from Royal Mail - they both said that they had attempted delivery but to open the attachment to get the tracking no and they would re attempt tomorrow - needless to say, I didnt open the attachment as my virus checker had scanned it and notified me it contained a virus - anyone else had these scam emails?

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

They also come,supposedly, from UPS, DHL and TNT
Just don't open anything like that
NEVER use the PREVIEW PANE in outlook express/live mail - go into VIEW - LAYOUT and disable it.
If you want to see the headers of an email highlight it (don't open it) in your Inbox - go to FILE/PROPERTIES/DETAILS
If you want to see the body of the message click on MESSAGE SOURCE and expand the window to see the message - you will not be 'opening' it, or activating any attachments doing this.
You can however see what is attached, NEVER open any attachments which have exe, .com, .vbs, .scr, .pif, .bat, .inf and .cmd after the filename, and also be careful if they have a double extension ie .jpg.vbs
