co uld anyone PLEASE help me atos have told me that i am covered by the DDA after heart problems and being on permanent medication a mate of mine as told me that when there is a resign i will become senior to them in front of me on the seniority list is this true or a wind up please were do i stand

Wait till a H&S rep comes on but I don't think they have it right.

Seniority will stay the same but as you are registered under the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) you managers have to make reasonable adjustments to your work. This might mean that your duty which has already been DDA'd would be ringfenced for you in any repick (probably the most likely) or that the new duty you get has to be adjusted (unlikely).

However as I say wait till a full H&S rep checks in and they will give you the definitive guidance.

People with an ongoing medical condition that requires medication are covered under the DDA.
This includes things like insulin dependent diabetics and asthmatics, as well as people with heart conditions.
This doesn't necessarily change your seniority, though some disabilities mean people are only able to cover certain duties, and this will sometimes mean they get duties they don't necessarily have the seniority to take.
Sorry to hear about your heart condition. It might not affect your seniority.
