cat shoes

Hi guys

Has anyone wearing the cat shoes delvoped sore knees. Ive had my shoes for about 4months now and for the past couple of weeks my knees have started to ache and I get pains in them if I kneel down. Has anyone else experienced this?

Not sure whether it's to do with the shoes but your knees may be wearing out,i have exactly the same problem but it is nothing to do with my footwear.
In the next few years my doc say i will have to have an op to shave the bones on my knee joints. :shock:
And i get a serious pain in them when i bend down.You may need some anti-inflammatory med like diclofenac which i use which is the bollox.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I found that the cat shoes wore out very fast so provided very poor support and cushioning which resulted in pain in my legs and knees. I went back to the magnums which I find to be fine once they are worn in a bit. Cats are much better in this hot weather though.

Cat is comfortable but I find cat trainers is not good for my knees especially when I do big walks.

It is ok on short walks. I have asked a Line manager to order me Doc Martins.

I was prescribed diclofenac when I was suffering with sciatica, im 22 ffs :shock:

Some of us are having leg,knee,heel problems and as for diclofenic some of us can not take it, me for one!i have heard someone at work talking about the heel problem and they have been told by thier doctor to stop wearing them because of the nature of our job,ie walking 10 million miles aday they do not support your feet so is causing miss alinement :shock: when walking! :sad: so it might be that RM are leaving themselves open for future problems.

The Cat trainers have affected my foot just above the area from big toe, don't know if it was because they were wearing out or because they are no good for our job.....can't comment on knee/leg pain as my legs are f****d. I take Co-codamol 30/500 but can't take them until after work as they space me out and send me to sleep.

Kapake is the trade name for them and they're only available by perscription.

I've used this (available over the counter/online - commercial name is Voltarol) and it is helping with a shoulder injury.

You're right DGP, over here they're called Solpadol, and they're only on prescription for a reason ...but they work a treat !

Sorry to hear about your knee problems...it can only get worse with longer delivery spans just around the corner.

The 3.5hr delivery cap has been lifted, so you could be walking for 5 hours, oh what joy when that revision comes around!
