Delivery supplement.

Wonder if any union officials can help with this one. I work as a 600 driver attatched to a delivery office, we rotate on 7 different duties and on 5 of these duties have to go out on delivering either one of the lapsed rounds or break offs before doing our driving duties, in fact sometimes they even lapse our drives to do this, due to a chronic lack of staff. Now don,t get me wrong i,m not moaning about not getting this delivery supplement, i dont think we should get it but would just like some clarity as to whever we should get it. We,ve been told that we,re not entitled to it, however when one of us drivers are off and we have one of our delivery colleges cover they get the 600 drivers money and there delivery supplement.If any union people could give us an answer on this it would be most appreciated.

see the post BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION 2010 AND BEYOND - PAY RELATED ISSUES. We work in a delivery unit was a collection hub, now we work under the delivery managment . I believe we should get as we work under the roof and for the same function. The phg in the afternoon does the same work as his colleagues on mornings but for £12.60 less, only difference is they have lost their early shift payment. i have heard of people who do one week on collection one week on delivery but only get £8 because they are tagged to collections. i beleive they are talking about this at national level.

Thanks postie222 . All seems very vague at the moment. See there is something on one of the other forums saying that the union and RM are meeting to iron out initial problems with who gets what supplement.
