i was trying to find out a bit more info about the apprenticeships, by anyone really

if you go from postman to apprenticeship; which office is your main office
whats the "plan" i.e. do you alternate between working at a delivery office for 6 months aand then mail center the next 6 months?
is the pay the same as a normal postman assuming you'll be doing the same duties/hours - or is this a way royal mail save money?
in completition of the scheme and assuming that you dont become a manager, will they offer you the post you already had or find another
would you recommend it?

Most of the previous 'cadet' scheme ended up as managers.

Did you workplace not have a poster up advertisng it earlier this year?

That scheme produced reps in my branch area. Bet RML were well chuffed

If you get to interview stage if you were to apply, you would be able to ask questions such as those above.

There is not a guaranteed managerial post at the end of the scheme, you have to apply for posts like any other person. The scheme increases your chances of making to CMA grade when applying for a CMA grade job.

dunno,Im too busy causing DIMs grief to read the propaganda board
only one we got did his 6 months delivery 'experience' in the callers
he was thick as s**t as well

i remember the poster as it was up about 3 months ago. i recall it saying you can continue to work in your current capacity while partaking in the scheme?
