What has been your most memorable moment working for RM when dealing with customers (happy customers )???

Last week i my best ever experience - In brief

Customer asks for giro - not regular postie
I refuse - no mate its in the other bag you'll get to you at 11am.
Customer - "i've not eating for 2 days, i'm starving"
me - "thats because you've you spent it on booze mate you ******* alchoholic - Just kidding i never said this but i wanted too"
Customer - "Please please jumps up and down on the spot a few times"
me - "sorry mate no can do"
Customer - "You ******** evil b******, hope you die"

its not a bill is it,
some comments about premium bonds.
We dont have time to chat.

Sometimes you need to hold your tongue as i get it at the other end of the scale.

I handed a very well off customer 11 premium bond winners a few weeks back (he gets a stack every month, a lot of my customer do ) and a few other letters with a mobile phone bill on top. He flicks through the letters with no surprise at all, sighs and says "just more bloody bills again". I am thinking yeah right you must have £600 in your hand

He did apologess and offer me a bottle of vodka if i got his giro but i'm tee tottle .

Seeing one of my customers when her daughter passed her exams and was going to the cathedral for the cermony,never seen a lady so proud and i was the lucky person who delivered the good news that she got a 2,2 now thats what makes the job worth while especially when they consider you as part and parcel of the good fourtune.
