I do my lapsing, finish my walk as soon as I can. Dont use a car. Use all my bag drops. Usually finish between 12-12.30.

Sometimes I finish before the walks around me, sometimes I dont.

Thats about par for the course for our early starters and car users, which is over half the office

Personally i found it a lot heavier than yesterday with Heritage and Sky mags. Many more packets and 14 things to get signed for. I got back at 13.30 whereupon most had finished and no sign of any managers

Done for just after one today, not a great deal on mail wise but a shedload of packets, bleeding students do they ever go to lectures or just spend their day on ebay sky mags tomorrow, don't know if its the same in other offices but we are allowed to just filter them in as long as they are done on te last day of the month

Heaviest day of the week so far for me! Sky mags, council letters 10 tons of flats etc got out the door at least half hour later than yesterday!
Nobodys hero - Re sky mags we had our old boss in today covering, and he said we could take the skys were we were going. Our regular dom would have made us take the lot!

We can do that with the mailsort ones.
Heavy day today (Saga magazines and Sky, packets, recorded deliveries, even had a couple of letters with stamps on them), it was really heavy yesterday (virgin media post out for most addresses) and tomorrow will be the rest of the Sky mags and whatever other s**** they have found stashed in a trailer somewhere.
This is the heaviest 'summer lull' I can remember, even heavier than last years.

Its the flats that get me Yesterday i had a couple of arm fulls worth yet today i had a stack over my waist (no iam not 4'8"). we can spread the sky mags but i notice there are 2 different issues now and the high def version is as large and heavy as ever

As long us Royal Mail have postmen like you,who do not do there job properly.
You will have lapsing. The next time it will be all year round not just the summer dip.
