So what has exactly changed in your office?

So what HAS changed in your office in the last couple of weeks????? In ours, nothing really has. When we went to the £20. 60 payment, we didnt see any rise in d2d, in fact at the moment its been less , over the last 3 weeks its been 1,1,2,.There was no big fanfare by management about how the d2d should be done. As for lapsing, nothing more than before , in fact its a bit less. No hint of WSM or van share. Still on 3.5 hour delivery spans, no long and shorts....are we doing OK?

well where still doing 3 d2ds per week and our start and finish times have changed, started lapsing and we started with the wsm last week and was constantly been told by doms that this would do 60% of the mail and you would save 20 mins a day this doesnt happen, the only mail we get sort is your trays of mech thats all and we seem to be manually sorting more mail which come in boxes with reject labels on so i think weve actually gone backwards and not forward.

Yes amazing isn't it for some of us the world hasn't stopped turning and Armageddon hasn't happened since the Delivery Supplement started,been easier now float does his share and surprisingly few d2d.
God help some when 5&6 d2d do kick in and genuine extra workload

staff are unhappy, 3 duties lapsed due to summer, we are getting the wsm.
Ok if mail is light, are we going to see a reduction of managers as another cost cutting measure. Will meal relief go next, and weekly wages.
Some part timers come in early.

If your DOM told you 60% of your mail would be sequenced he was wrong, basically the amount you had walksort previously would be the
amount that could be sequenced, the plan is 60% of the available mech mails would be sequenced on the first wave, the remaining 40%
would be sequenced on the final wave, the manual amounts should Stay the same, after all if it was machinable then it would
have been walksorted anyway to cut the amount of hours on IPS

We're still lapsing Duty's been every day nearly since New Year.. Oh no 1's allowed to leave the office til 10:15am.. But hey the Dom's still allowed to piss-off home early every day + he's away home for 11am on a Saturday.. The joys of being a Pen~Pusher..!

Ive been told that a iLSM can sort mail that as LSM cant.

After being classed as a bully office we are having diversity training again and the "with friends like these" video. Hence the managers suddenly dont speak to you much for fear of being exposed as a bully and out of character comments about how we're all rooting for England together. Proposal of a new meltdown revision unfortunately drawn up by the graduates with no experience of processing the mail. I say let them do what ever they want for a laugh, no ones gone this far before. Watching managers sort packets as fast as they can and aggressively telling one another to f off at 21.30 would be entertaining. Also a new method to cover up mail centre failures, just class the left over mail as being deal't with by revenue protection and it disappeers.

Meal relief? What's that? You can't get anyone to take one in our office.
This is the problem - we're all singing from different song sheets. Playing into RM hands. Useless union, no guidance. Too busy now arranging a strike for BT to bother about our state of affairs.
