2 questions I need help with - uniform + pay

1. So, I'm wondering. I have to order the uniform but only after a certain amount of weeks. I just ring up + just wait? :)

2. Rate of pay. I'm working part-time, but I'm wondering how to pay is set out for 25 hours a week. This so say this is what it says an example... "Your starting pay will be at the rate of £320 per week (pro rata for part time)". So how do I go about working my actual rate of pay, and what is brought home each week? Its not that helpful. :/

Get your manager to phone up and you wont have a problem .

Pro rata as far as I can make out for 25 hours is divide the £320 by 40 which is £8 and then multipy by 25 which is £200 . 40 is the full time hours and 25 is part time . Hope thats simple enough . Its how I work it out . Good Luck .

Uniform, I am fairly sure that at the induction I filled in a form for my sizes and when I was given a temporary contract, as opposed to casual, the uniform was ordered by the manager from the form I had previously filled in.

1. Surprising... No, I've not. Like I said in the introduce yourself bit, I don't start just yet. So obviuously I've not listened... because I've not had one.

I think I read somewhere once that DHL drivers have to pay for their uniform. Considering that they make them wear a nauseous combination of bright yellow shirts with bright red trousers, it really is taking the piss.
