sure i read you were only allowed to take 8 max- 4 high value- if on delivery by foot, but boss argues you can take out more than this unless its in a high risk area, i cant find info , but sure i read it somewhere under some health and safety bulletin a while back.
any ideas folks?

No, higher postage might be due to weight, SG or 9am, so are we expected to know all of those rates and the approprate reductions for meter postings, apart from which mny Specials are PPI which gives us no indication of the postage paid.

look on the SD label,you can see where extra insurance has been paid for(from memory)
when i was in the locker I would pass high value SD's to the driver
its crazy ot have a postie on foot with a SD full of cash/jewellery

An IB bloke once told me that the high value SD's are ones that are going to Post offices, Banks, Travel agents, Building Socs & Jewellery shops etc. mostly because we can guess the contents! otherwise they can simply be things that people want in a hurry and we don't (in theory) know what is inside them

yes, it's common sense that the ones I've delivered to Post Offices and Banks feel like, and no doubt are, wads of foreign currency, but that doesn't mean that others aren't 'high value' - we just don't know and can't be expected to guess.

all specials and trackers are taken by drivers........its the safest and most efficent way
