Got my first new pay slip in today, my early morning shift allowance has gone replaced with the 2 new supplements and i'm £14.48 better off.Any big drops or plus for anyone else?

This week, I've not really "lost" anything as I got paid £15 (£20.65 pro rata) and I've only got 2 D2Ds.

However, there's someone in my office who's p/t and will be working f/t hours for the next year who will be getting less than I am (as they're on a lesser contract) and yet will be earning less than the other f/t workers in our office.

RM want to employ p/t workers so they can "flex up" to cover f/t duties and yet don't recognise/reward them in the bonus schemes they have.

Why should someone on a 20 hour contract who's worked 40 hours a week like the guy on the frame next to them, get half the bonus or any other payments pro rata?

Do I stop acting as a workplace coach once I've done my contracted hours?!

The fact that PTers who cover FT duties on o/t( like myself ) get paid LESS for doing the SAME work is absolutely ridiculous and unfair, and the union wants it's head checking when they agreed to this crap. If RM think they can "pro rata " my pay then by argument i can "pro rata" what D2D's im taking.
Having to spend like 20/30 minutes counting and bundling some up every single day is going to get old really fast as opposed to spending say an hour getting them all sorted for the week ( or doing fa if you're on floater duty ).

How exactly have royal mail put this into our workload times? Have our walks been reduced ? NO, in fact they're forever stressing our walks need to be bigger regardless of the extra 20 minutes were already wasting doing this s***. Then we have to go to a guaranteed 100/100 calls on a walk? get a freaking clue RM... and for that matter the union. Thanks for absoultely nothing.

Did i mention our LM is trying to get us to lapse walks now? I LOOOOOOLed. Get bent, what argument is there of "mail decrease" when you're going to a guaranteed 20% of your walk anyway.

Stupid job, stupid managers , stupid union. Shame the countries in the state it is otherwise i'd be out of this job so fast.

got paid £15.00 (someone else got the 45p), normally receive c£20+ for D2D.

I normally get about 33 quid for 3 lots of door to doors, so I'm about 18 quid down this week..multiply that by about 42 or however many weeks in the year we do d2d and it makes for depressing reading. :cfo :lfo :mfo

18 quid down as a PT'er add to that inflation is now apparently 5% so will be down a significant ammount this year - and doing more work.

And get this the CWU are out and fighting to get BT staff a 5% pay award after flatly refusing a 2% offer.
Apparently 1.8 or whatever it is was they agreed with RM was enough for us but 2% not nearly enough for BT?????? What is going on?
