management bonus scheme details?

Do we know any details of the management bonus schemes. How does lasping figure into this and which tier of management gets what ratio?

It would be nice to let the people who run around and use thier own cars who they are working for free for (if that makes sense).

I think it's based on failure. The worse they perform, the more money they get. At least that's what seems to happen with the most senior Managers anyway!

I was told once it was local ,area and national performance. Senior managers scrutnise not just the hours being used but the way local mangers are running the place.

Unit achieves budget/GROUP acheives PROFIT = % of bonus, hits quality target = % of bonus, bearing in mind the strikes last year , we failed most
of our quality targets, profit target not hit, not sure how much they'll get - already seen one manager at our place with his Skegness & Cleethorpes

This how management's bonus scheme works.
The harder and faster YOU work, the bigger and juicier THEIR bonus is. It requires the barest minimal of effort on their part, and what can only be described as, HERCULEAN EFFORT from YOU.

That counts as being fair, in the world of the "something for nothing" brigade, aka, the middle class.

I believe your unit`s sick absence is also taken into account. The fact that if you go a whole year without any sick
gets you nothing, it will trigger a bonus payment for your manager ! They reap what you sow.

That makes a lot of sense. But what happens if they do really well on the budget, but quality suffers. Do they still get a bonus, or can one cancel out the other?

The reason I'm asking is that although it's obviously going to be a different scheme for the more senior Managers. They do seem to have their bonuses attatched to profits at the expense of everything else. I'm not trying to be unpleasant here. I'm just curious. Because it's important to understand how this works. As it will affect the Manager's priorities.

Yes mate , quality will effect his bonus, that is why the fiasco in Scotland with test letters & panellists came to light.

Although there was mention of quality in the area to avoid fines etc, individual M.C & D.O bonuses would be affectded
