in our office we lapse 2 rounds 6 days a week are we supposed to lapse on saturdays

you can lapse every day
however its down to time avalaible
so if you come in on time,do the job properly and have time to do lapsing within the duty time then yes you can lapse 6 days

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Shall I make it clear then - I have NEVER lapsed a round or even part of one. I work hard and claim docket when I work over, I have cut off. I may finish 10 minutes early on a Tuesday and because we don't lapse I wont get too fussed if I go slightly over on a Wednesday.

Lapsing only works if you and RM are flexible but it wont work if your flexible for free, or if RM impose flexibility (oxymoron alert).
