Pick Ups

Are RM supposed to pick you up after your round? Or are you expected to walk back?

It's just that I'm close to 5 miles away from the office on my current round (which I'm on for 1 more week due to lapsing), and it takes over an hour to walk back to the office. I'd have to get around my walk in 3 hours flat to stand any chance of getting back to the office within my hours, which given the size of my round is near impossible. It's getting a little annoying that I'm having to rely on "luck" to try and catch a van on the way back from my round as the office are unreliable in getting anyone out.

Good idea actually, I go past one of the boxes on the main road on the way back to the office. How would I go about getting rid of the large undelivered parcels though? I've not really been in this situation before and haven't needed to pouch off, so it's quite new to me "pouching off".

How large are the parcels you taking that they can't fit into a pouch box??

I'll speak to the rep, he hasn't been in much recently, and when he's away "the cat's play" so to speak. Management create new rules.

I so much as speak out of turn and I get dragged into the office, seriously. This morning I was trying to get out in the van, manager calls me back and starts moaning (i think I'd got a loose letter in the IPS fitting or something - I think thats where he was wagging his finger) so I tell him basically to hurry up with his moan so I can get out and he drags me in the office which takes another 5 minutes. If I demand a lift back, I'll get the same treatment. It's so stupid it's just not funny anymore.

There is a post office on the way back to the office, might require a little detour, but worth it for the hassle of going back to the office I guess.

One fat manager Toad told me pouching off is illegal in our office, still if you are one of the early crew you can f**k off home without doing your miss-sorts,registered ,bulky packets or steep bits on your walk. Going nuclear soon brace yourselves ,I aint even scratched the surface

however my own/old office is mostly park n poop,so a lot more return now

Vardinator as i told you when i was at work, they have (at our office) a clear resonsibility to return you to the office, i also told you that it would not be easy and they would try everything to desuade you. I am currently on a lot of courses and i have a personal issue to deal with at ther minute so am not at work a lot, WHICH IS WHY I GAVE YOU MY MOBILE.

If you pouch off as many have described here, you will be forgotten in management eyes and you may be left in the middle of nowhere to walk back.

Again let me spell this out
1. tell them it is their resposibility to get you back.
2. if they dont pick you up and you go over THEY OWE YOU THAT TIME, getting that back in docket or reducing your own workload the day after is the only way to desuade them from repearting this type of action in the future.

I would not expect a member to go through something i had not, which is why i have been through everything you have, i stopped using my car two years ago, there have been only a handfull of times that i have picked up late, non over 30mins. That is because when they try to fob you off with "we cant pick you up" you have to be strong and threaten back, that is our office at the moment, the agreement means nothing to these guys.

I am trying my hardest to change the above but i am constantly having my hands tied from our own people, so be patient vardinator, and f***ing ring me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a look at the workshop slide post, and carefully read parts of the agreement that some one has pasted up, you will see that it is 9supposed 0 to be part of the agreement, that everyone gets taken back to the office, and no pouching off is for the main not allowed!

My humble grovelling apologies,so many posts so many 'where's the rep in all this'.Reading his posts he didn't seem to be getting any help.
