Induction Pay

Hi,
I went for my Induction day yesterday and am wondering do we get paid for it this Friday and how much?

You might be lucky, but generally, any additional hours worked from Monday on (i.e. O/T) are in the following week's pay. How much? How many hours was your induction?

It was 8-3.
What is the rate of pay for Induction?

I'd be thinking the rate would be the rate you were told when you applied. Rates for inductions are not lower than normal rates in my experience.

You will be paid. If you don't, make loud noises.

You'll get your normal rate of pay - there is no separate rate for induction or training

If your start date was the induction date then you SHOULD get paid.

Will you definitely get paid - Sorry with the best intentions in the world we can't guarantee it and I don't suppose HR can either - but i reckon 99.99999% of people get paid on time and with no problems.

If you are really worried have a word with your manager (through the trainer if your nervous and he is willing) and politely ask him. Do it tomorrow as I think most of the returns have to be at HR on Wednesday to count to Fridays pay.

hi yes you will get paid i started three and half years ago think induction was on wednesday they started at do on thurs bloke who was doing induction said we would get paid that week (no week in hand) and it was in the bank of friday
