Is it age or.....

Post by ashadd »

The job..? I am mid 50 ,done 16 years,do the job as it should be done , no rushing around. So why am i so feckin knackered at the end of the shift? I get home , have a bite to eat, then zonk...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 30 min ish power nap, but take ages to really wake up. So is it age or what? Do you part timers feel the same , what about you youngsters, are you Knackered? if not take heed . If you part timers are not knackered , then i might just buy down my hours.......
I married my wife for her looks, but not the one she gave me when i said i was going to be a postman.

Mate i am early 40's and if i stop for too long when i come home then i am zonked out for a 40-60 min zzzzzzz on the sofa. It takes me a good hour to really wake up but i normally jump in the shower and feel quite good after that. Oh it drives my better half mad as she see's it as being lazy :whistle
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

I know its a killer, up on last sat morning at 4.40am did a full delivery (approx 10 km) came home and cut the grass front and back and then sat down and kinda dropped of for 15 min before being smacked on the leg and told to wake up. :confused
Then when me eyes are stinging at 10pm i was told "your not tired your've been asleep half the day" :left: :left: :left:

Its the walking. The gov recommend 10,000 steps a day to keep really fit. I normally hit between 20,000 and 22,000. My better half works in an office and did just 6200 when she borrowed my pedometer so that gives you an idea. I cant think of another trade that does as much :hmmmm

Your own fault for watching Sky news then

I get home and I make sure I don't sleep until bedtime, I used to but it ruined my sleep pattern (sleep 2 hours in the afternoon and then not sleep until 2/3 in the morning- which lead to being really tired at work - which leads to comsumtion of large amounts of Red Bull - which leads to a big boost - which leads to a big crash when I got home etc.).
