Question about mail centre strike days...... ??
I've heard from various people that if managers have been sorting the mail in the mail centres, that delivery staff have the right to refuse to deliver it. Is this true, or is it a rule from a by-gone era ?

It's blacklisted mail,so technically we should of refused to touch it,also with managers driving the shuttles it's a double wammy.Cybitech wrote:I've heard from various people that if managers have been sorting the mail in the mail centres, that delivery staff have the right to refuse to deliver it. It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
