most D2D in one house

I've got a block of 12 on mine, with just the one communal letterbox. They get 36 a week.
We've now been told that any flats with a communal letterbox only get the one lot of D2D's unless they have a separate slot on the frame.

i have a road full of converted houses with 3 or 4 flats in them on my delivery ,found that i was putting 20 to 24 D2Ds through the front door of some of them in one hit , some of them even had a letter with them , any one beat that in through one front door ???

3 D2Ds this week and one converted Victorian House that has 13 flats in it but only 1 letterbox and no communal area 42 Individual D2Ds - 1 spilt the D2Ds from normal mail and put them through the door seperately - I know they'll be binned but I always put all the maill in one banded bundle and the D2Ds in another - no complaints yet.

When we start getting 6 this one drop will get 78

the spec changed a couple of years ago to save royal mail some money instaed of 1 D2D per doorbell it's now 1 per letterbox dosn't matter how many flats are behind the door

Are you certain - as even this week the control sheet highlighted it as a multiple occupancy and indicates how many I should drop eg 13 x (no that week)

I thought RM got paid for delivering them, how can that save money, RM don't pay anything as far as I'm aware, it's just 100% profit.

Same on my spec sheet. One front door 12 flats and each individual flat is on delivery sheet so they get 12x3.

Unless it only states one delivery point on your control sheet every flat should get one.
The customer requests,pays for and intends that every household recieves their D2D,not that 1 is shared between 12.

Yes Royal Mail got paid for delivering them but what they paid us well that's a differnt matter or maybe the companys were looking to save money we will probaly never find out.
When you add a delivery point to A Plus it asks about multiple occupancy which is where you add the amount of doorbells, if a flat eg.. has it's own letterbox it would show as a single occupancy, now a few years back as a recall I had the pleasure of checking all delivery points in our office as a revision was being planned and updated the D2D at the same time so that everyone in the office got paid as much as possible. It was about 2007 i think, that the amount of D2D most people got dropped by anything upto 300 (i work in a city office and so many houses are multi-occupied) after chasing this up Royal Mail confirmed that it was now 1 D2D per letterbox the only time this goes back to the 1 per doorbell is with election material as just happened.

So,under the old system of D2D's you would only drop and claim for 3 D2D's when you could of claimed for 3 D2D's x (insert figure)?
