England Shirts on Duty

I'm off to work now with my England shirt on, our Office Manager said for Today and every other day when England is playing we can wear our England shirts on Duty, but we must wear a high vis over it out on delivery though, great feeling without my blue on shirt this morning..

They wont let us fly England flags on the vans :sad:

If you would like to be patriotic for a week then go for it. Oh don't forget that St George's day is 23rd April in case you want to wear it for a real reason rather than for a dozen millionaires without a happuth of talent kicking an inflated pigs bladder around a pitch? :roll:

By the way, you'd better check your elf and safety position too - will you be covered if you trip and fall whilst wearing your lovely lickle england shirty??! :arrrghhh

You'd probably be lynched or egged if you wore it on my duty lol

I think it should be RM uniform at all times unless there's a medical reason, backed up with Dr's note, to say otherwise. Looks unprofessional. Football shirts on duty?! Whatever next... :crazy:

Just think Jeneeee if you get to wear your shirt everyday when you break off to go and pick your kids up in your car, no one will know you're a postie! How cool is that? :mad

A hot potato here,others may want to wear whatever they want when there is a special occasion going on ect,and there will br f**k all the manager can do about it.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
