This is not a wind up , but did anyone have to cut off on their delivery due to the inclusion of Door to Door into workload.

I have not had any reported to me in London , and yes there was over 20 London offices who had 4 contracts last week.

If you did cut off , have management decided to do something different next week ?

I can understand the debate about whether someone has lost or not but I want to know outside of a revison whether the inclusion of door to door has meant that you cannot complete your delivery.

Me and quite a few others had to cut off on monday due to organising our walk frames and given no time to do it but a part from that no, we had a max of 3 lots this week. It is the summer and mail is at its usual summer volumes but when the increase comes along in September and Christmas then i'm sure it will be a different story.

only had 2 d2d's,and with floater doing is bit on my day off was alot easier than usual!! don't know if it'll be the same with 4,5,or 6 d2d's though,have to wait and see.

Lapsing was cancelled (except tuesday) to make sure d2d's were prepped. 2 weeks only i think.

On tusday everyone was expected to return to office to prep as many as possible for rest of week.

only 2 duties from 70 had 4

had to lapse 2 rounds still 4 lots of d2d ...nobody cut off but plenty of o/t booked .....and the manager challenged people why they booked will probable be same next week but no other plans to change duties nest week

just had 1 set, prepped at start of the week, managers ok.
people with loads of calls have really been shafted by agreement, possible loss of at least £1.5k per annum.

YES, we are being hammered in North Wales due to large deep rural deliveries and the funny thing is we had only 1 D2D this week, imagine us having 4 ?? Cut-Off before and under the new agreement, nothing ever changes !!!

Dingo, not sure I can answer your question precisely but I went over by 25 minutes on Monday and 20 minutes on Thursday. I'm guessing that D2D's were responsible for 15 minutes on each occasion.

So from RM's point of view Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of this week they were absorbed.
Not what I wanted to see.

Probably not sensible to read too much into 1 week's set of figures, wait until we've got a more representative set of figures before we start making judgments.

Dingo quick question mate why is the CWU happy ( well they seem happy) to have the introduction of D2Ds but know there are offices out there that havnt had the extra work inputted into the IWT.

This has happened in my office can you please remind me of what it says on page 20 of the Shafting and transformation agreement 2010 regarding the extra workload brought on by the additional D2Ds.

Do we as an office just have to bite the bullet and get on with it now as the CWU seem to have lost the will to fight.

I look forward to your response on this very simple question.

The DTD guidelines say that the tools will work out how much time is needed and this is then compared against scheduled hours.

no cut offs but loads of o/t. apart from tuesday it was taking roughly 4hrs 10 mins to do my round thats not including the lapsing. when complain to manager you get nowhere. any suggestions cause i was f***d by thursday
