I cant seem to get a proper answer.Does anybody know if this in practice.

Well TBH the question is not very clear.

What are you opting out of.

1. Polictal Levy.
2. The CWU.
3. Delivering D2Ds.
4. Receiving D2Ds.
5. Donating in Pay.
6. Cycle to work.

probably many more, However I will answer as best I can.

1. Yes you can.
2. Yes call HR at they will sort it.
3. No - there is a management process but in the end you will have to.
4. Yes the process remains the same.
5. Yes - Call HR
6. Once your in it you cannot opt out you have to pay the full amount outstanding AFAIK
I am guessing your original question is do you deliver D2Ds to those who opted out previously the answer is NO they have opted out. Our processes have changed but Customers have not - Opt Outs are still valid.

I didn't realise unntil recently that the customer opt-out is valid for a limited period (2 yrs?) and then they have to opt out again.

Yes it is as I also had this conversation with my dom today.

They are now updating the log sheets thought I had about 5 addresses that had opt out and now i have only one so I informed a few others that did have it and said they have got to renew it.
