sorry didnt make myself clear. by using the word opt out i mean if there was a resign and your duty content and times have hardly changed you can keep your duty and not have it in the resign.is that better.

if your duty does not undergo major change and you have been on the said duty for more than 12 months then under the 2007 way forward you can opt your duty out of any resign

Hardly means 'something has changed' on the duty i guess by your post.duty content and times have hardly changed
So no you can't be opted out.
It's only if the duty has 'not changed' at all.
