:Very Happy Got told the "Have your say" results today. Our managers score was on average 20/25% below national average. Do we win an award for that? :nana

For your manager to be 20% below the national average, there must be managers who are 20% above the average.
Which begs the question - are some managers filling them in themselves?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

yes hairy a real indication of how well the new realationships are going at are d.o i thought, well done evryone who filled them in truthfully

i filled another 1 again this year,TBH my manager, altho is totally RM,at least you know where you stand with him,no back doors,unlike some.......... altho i did mention the need to walk up & down the isle like some Gulag Commissar,jackboots & riding crop needed.

The numbers given are just what RM thinks they should be, their targets are 30/40% and anything under that causes an indicator to be flagged and action to be taken but TBH my office failed on every HYS for years and nothing has been done about it (once we had a big WTL session where we had to write down positve and negative words to describe the office...................30 minutes wasted because we didn't join in with their bollocks :Very Happy ) but now we just don't fill them in and they've stopped sending them to us (or the managers are just filling them in themselves :hmmmm ).

They are meant to publish the results?! Have not seen anything in the way of results since I have been working there.

On the subject of HYS - please remember that although the comments are supposed to be anonymous, they are shown to managers and it may well be obvious to them who has written what. The content and/or style of your comment can give you away. I know.

I don't even bother filling them in any more, nothing ever changes. I take the HYS form out of one envelope and put into return envelope, hopefully they will get the message!

Our have your say was the worst result in the North west Area,One of the poorest in the country.
Yet we are the top performing office in the north west,All down to bullying by the manager.
All sorts of people came to see why the result was so bad,Eventually he was moved to another office,He was ousted out of there and the workers refused to work for him he was then moved to another office,Same happened there,Now they are trying to return him to our office,Yet the area manager knows how this will disrupt the workforce,A list of grievances as long as the nile have been filed against him,For harrassment,Bullying,Lying,Intimidation etc etc.
Royal mail want to keep him though,Because for all his faults,From a business point of view he is a Godsend to Royal mail,Sod the workers,Lets keep saving is their policy.
I honestly think if he comes back one of the guys in our place will Flip and beat him up,Then what?
