Let the Public vote! Yes or No

Dare i ask guys, If Door 2 doors are now classed by the RM as live mail are we now allowed to inform our customers on how to go about stopping this mass of mulched paper? I know of many (Rural) posties who will spend 5 minutes (sometimes alot more) driving up tracks every week delivering sh8t to unoccupied 2nd homes/Retreats/un-occupied farms etc.. etc... this concerns them and should concern the rest of us for many reasons one being this unneccessary carbon footprint. So does anyone think the public deserves the right to know excatly what RM's newest modernisation scheme is?
D2D's in the long run i believe are going to do more harm than good to our future they will not save the business they will help destroy/Privatise it !!
Who voted yes to this everyone in processing/collections? well yes your getting money for work your not doing at the moment but guess who's going first (apart from surpless managers yes you guessed it those in processing and collections who voted yes...
To summerise should RM let the public vote? and ask them ''Would you like several Live advertising leaflets through your door every week?'' YES or NO Then we can give them what they want?

Even though I hate handling, prepping and delivery dorr2door I would not be so foolish as to shot myself squarely in the foot by encouraging the public to refuse them as it will only lead to further job cuts and reduction in hours. Think about it.

Secondly if you were to distribute information to your customers encouraging them to opt out of door2door items you would be sacked from RM.

Whenever customers complain to me how they hate the leaflets I just say to them if you dont want to receive them any more call customer care and then you wont get them anymore.

Not rocket science. Customers only have to type 'junk mail' on google and there are no end of sites that explain how to stop it, or most of it. Right now its keeping jobs going. End of.
