Working in the Cage
are there measures taken prior to working in the cage i.e. should you be able to spend a day or two being trained up, or can the manager just chuck you in there/serving customers. i ask because im working in the cage next week, for one day, although i'll be with someone else (there's always 2 in our cage) i wont know what to do as i dont know how the packets are layed out etc.

we have a new guy in the locker at our office. he was trained for a whole work, hes still slow lol. youl porob just be finding 739s for the customers as thats not rly hard.

It would make sense to train you up for a couple of days as its not as easy as people think working the enquiry office,have a word with your rep and get them to sort something out with your Dom.

in our office the recordeds and packets are kept together in a small backroom, where all the keys and pdas are kept. in the main room there is a shelf for packets from each driving duty. then all the other packets are just put alphabetical order. e.g. packet for 15 anderson rd and 739 came from a postman would be in the section for 'a' and on the side of the packet would be 15 / a. tahst hwo its done at ours. you will get some training .
