D2d Payments

How can it be fair when Me on 28 hrs delivers 600 D2Ds. And joe bloggs on 40 hrs delivers 600 D2Ds but he gets £20.60 and I get about £11. I am sure this can not be right and this wonderful union of ours has got a lot of questions to answer. I know it goes on Pro (RIpoff) rota but why does someone who delivers the same amount of D2Ds or less get paid more.

what about 30hr p-timers who currently get an early shift allowance, who are now going to be delivering 400 - 500 a week for approx an extra £4 while others like PHG's and bulk duties will get the money for nothing.
The union knows how to look after us p-timers.

If you want to feel better about it consider it a 51p per hour delivery supplement.
Now as if by magic you get the same as a full-timer....51p per hour :hmmmm

Because it is a delivery supplement and not a D2D supplement.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

How many more times or how long before it finally sinks in to people YOU NO LONGER GET PAID FOR D2D :arrrghhh

this was a confusing issue for me too, until I had it out with our union rep who called the div rep and explained to me that we are not getting paid for D2D anymore. D2D is now classed and treated as mail. as one of the fellas in the office put it; 'why should RM pay you to deliver something you're delivering to anyway'. he said 'it was always going to happen'. then WHY wasn't something done about it sooner? Me asks. 'because there's nothing we could do'. :confused where's our union when we need them? oh, in bed with management ...
