INTRODUCTION OF NEW BASIC PAY SUPPLEMENTS


We can confirm that all the new basic pay supplements agreed as part of the Business Transformation 2010 and Beyond National Agreement will be implemented as part of individual employee pay on the 11th June.


The supplements due are as follows:-


Delivery £20.60 per week.
Mail Centres £8.00 per week. Mail Centre employees will also receive a £75 lump sum (pro rata for part time employees) as part of the winding up arrangements from the old productivity scheme called ESOS.
Distribution £8.00 per week. Distribution employees will also receive a £75 lump sum (pro rata for part time employees) as part of the winding up arrangements from the old productivity scheme called ESOS.
RDCs £11 per week.
Walk Bundling Centres £11 per week.
MDECs £8.00 per week. MDEC employees will also receive a £75 lump sum (pro rata for part time employees) as part of the winding up arrangements from the old productivity scheme called ESOS.
HWDC £20.58 per week.


For delivery employees we have attached a pay schedule that explains how the previous door to door payments and early shift payments will be integrated into the new basic pay supplement.


Where individual members have enquiries relating to their specific pay, in the first instance, these should be pursued locally or alternatively by contacting the appropriate Royal Mail HRSC contact centre. Telephone and email contact details for the HRSC contact centre are printed on the reverse of individual members’ payslips.


The Union and Royal Mail will continue to monitor the situation to ensure that employees receive the supplement they are due.


Any operational issues associated with these changes will be dealt with by the appropriate national officers in subsequent communications.

the kick in the teeth is that i'm p/t and they put up the sheet as usual saying how many d2d's but it still says the price which for the coming week is £30.74
so just a £20.54 pay cut for me.

the national negociators should be ashamed, how can a union recomend such a big pay cut for most of there members in delivery beats me

leave the cwu and gain £150 a year but for many thats less than what they are going to lose

Done three d2d's this week and worked out at 9p a door - 500 doors so nearly £50.

Now i'll be getting £11 or whatever it is for doing more of em!

Come on now, show a little compassion for your brothers and sisters in BT, they have been called out on strike by the CWU - so lets hope they are ready for a shafting and a pay cut

right enough moaning the union done a great job take this example, f/t union rep on full time release before agreement, basic pay + nightshift allowance after agreement basic pay + £20.60 + night shift allowance now as dingo said some will be winners

It looks like the CWU HAS looked after the London members ( who's d2d count is lower than most of us who do 3 items a week...every week.)

It looks like they have bought off mail centre staff, by giving them a suppliment even though they're helping RM to close upto 50% of mail centres.

I am a union man, always have been, but the CWU are driving me away...

Do I hand back my card?

If I don't I'll be accepting these changes without a fight

If I do, have RM won, have they split the union

I did say it was 99% but it went 100% today,was delayed because of the election and various peeps being off.

3:45/4 would be the norm depending on traffic figures.Lots of added indoor work which we had to swallow.

And maybe you should hold that £150 back to buy shares in RM when Cameron uses the 'reducing the deficit' argument to raise cash from selling us off
