Dickhead get your h&s rep to weigh his bags every monday then, if they are overweight he should be taken down the conduct code. At least you have been told whats happening in your office, in ours not heard a thing, tried the area rep and emails to branch office so far no replys, i think our office is about to become an ,office with no union members in, i'm finding it hard for a reason for me to stay with the union.

His bags are fine for weight - he has about 500 drops and puts them into about 12 bags

On tuesdays he comes in at 530, and there`s never any coded till 620 , so he sorts flats , on the off chance that some coded may one day appear from nowhere Then when were through IPS and hes chucked in coz its Tuesday ,and we have to wait for missorts at 8:50, he runds round at 900mph throwing the lapsing rounds in

D2D into workload will just mean more of it.

As the workload increases so will the early starters as they try to avoid confrontation with the DOM.

RM bigwigs know line managers will bully staff into submission on a range of issues.

At my office the managers havent been told anything about d2d into workload save for the payments are atopping. Other than that they have said "sort it out amongst youselves. If the d2d arent done then its willfull delay"

Lapsing is done by the bloke nearest to the lapsed duty regardless of workload. Its not managed fairly or accurately.

Managers dont want to work at my office. They shirk any resposibility and the only thing they can be seen doing is watching people do IPS and filling in a few complaints forms.

I reckon we could run the 120 duty office with 1 manager (there are 10 or so on the payroll)

Told us today that these leaflets start next week , that we lose early shift allowance etc and we get 4 or 5 lots of d2d next week - that we have to take a section per day (1/6th) and thats that. Fair enough, we knew it was coming.

Then one of these early starters , you know the one who gets the shakes if the coded bundles are late when he`s actually in work @ 5:15 and only starts at 6:15........, gets up and says "can I come back Saturday after work and prep them all into my frame and clear the lot on Monday??? I`ll take the floaters section too, so that I may be able to get finished on time the rest if the week" DOM said "course you can if its ok with your floater

When will this pondlife realise theyve ruined the job already, and to leave it alone FFS! :mfo

Nope, I wouldn't show any respect....pondlife would be as good an epithet as he could hope to get from me. He'll get his due respect when he shows his due respect for how the job should be done....till then, I'm still schlepping on a PT contract, and he & his like are STEALING the hours from me and ALL PTs waiting in vain for a FT contract.

We`ve got 1 bloke who comes in an hour early, as done for 20 years - and he doesnt do IPS , so he throws in the round near him , a pt round. The pt round has recently been made a ft round , and hes told the ft bloke whos on it, to come in at 745 instead of 615 and he`ll have his round thrown in for him ,as he enjoys prepping rounds !! The doms fine with this as long as the work gets done, so he comes in at 745 and bags up at 815, whilst the bloke whos thrown it in, is still on his coded bundles

I would point out to the DOM that this man is not working all his paid hrs as stated and agreed in the Pay and Modernisation agreement. If he doesnt make him, he cant make anybody.
