D2D pro-rata - what do PTs get paid for

so for us part-timers we get the D2D supplement/allowance whatever pro-rata. so what do we actually get paid for? I'm assuming its delivery - so if the stuff isn't prepped it doesn't go out? can someone clear this up for me cheers. not looking forward to arguments with managers without the full facts

You get paid for working your 5 hrs a day, or however many hrs a day you work.

What that work is comprised of depends on the duty.

regarding door to door specifically. I mean the £20.60 you full timers get for delivering d2d. we only get paid pro-rata, that is in accordance with our contracted hours.

in my experience pro-rata applies ONLY to contracted hours, NOT to actual hours worked. I work 40hours per week, but am on a 25hour contract. So when you FT get a bonus, I only get part of it, despite the fact I work the same hours.

SO on to D2D. again I am assuming, as in line with pro-rata bonuses, that we will only get 25hrs worth of the £20.60 (I'm rubbish at maths, so can't give any figures). this means that because I won't be getting paid the FULL AMOUNT I will not do the FULL AMOUNT of work involved in D2D, that is prepping them, then delivering them. however, I cannot deliver the D2D if they are not prepped.

I imagine, because I am contracted only to deliver a walk and not to prep it, that I will only get the D2D supplement for delivery, so I won't be prepping it.

can anyone clear this up?

The delivery supplement has nothing whatsoever to do with D2D muckyboots.
If it's not your job to prep the duty then.....you wont.

No, they don't, they get an £8 supplement (FT) for the changes they have to make, the £20 (pro-rata) is a seperate payment for delivery office staff only.

If you are working 40 hours Muckyboots why don't you do your own prep

And why if you are working 40 hours do you think you don't have to do the work of a FT

If you want the overtime do the work that comes with it simples

Nope they hey a Mail Centre Supplement of £8 per week + any PBS they already get over £8.

I'll do this load and proud again. Hopefully the message will get passed around.

Cant blame me I was not even in RM when SDD came in .

However, a pattern does seem to be forming with recent disputes, or at least ones in this decade.

Why do people keep asking about the delivery supplement? And still think they're getting paid for d2d? Did they all not read and vote on the new agreement? Oh wait! 60,000 didn't even bother to put a cross in a box! And hence the no voters including me are now stuck with an agreement that we didn't want. So dry your eyes and get on with it. If you had bothered to read the agreement and vote no, we'd not be stuck in this situation. Oh and P/T's dry your eyes too, Full timers are losing more money than you lot. We're only getting an extra £8 after they've taken away or E.S.A. You lot are up £10.30. Do the math.

i DO prep my own MAIL. I was wondering about the D2D under the NEW AGREEMENT

I am gonna guess that I receive a basic payment of the pro rata £20.60, which will be £14.00 odd >>>>>>WHICH IS NOT A DELIVERY SUPPLEMENT!!!! <<<< whatever I do. so I am going to prep and deliver the door to door for LESS than what FT would get [this is an EXAMPLE I am not having a go at FT).

and btw I DID vote NO. I have also requested a FT contract for a long time now, but the answer's no.
