Clarity on D2D supplement

This is taken from the WTLL D2D download, i was under the impression that the supplement was payable 52 weeks of the year, yet in this WTLL D2D that is on the site it says-
Will I get the pay supplement when I am off sick?
The pay supplement is subject to normal basic pay rules.
For example,
it will
be paid for up to six months for employees on long term sick leave; the payment will also be reduced where employees have purchased additional leave.

well i purchase additional leave [up to the max 6 weeks] so does that mean i won't get the full £20.60 then?
first time i have seen this anywhere, i was always under the impression that it was payable 52 weeks of the year full stop
is it just a fault on there part or another one of these cock ups that they made {£400 per employe} despite taking months to come up with this
any ideas?

It's quite simple.
If you purchase 1 weeks leave it costs 1 weeks basic pay over 52 weeks,this reduces your basic pay.
If you purchase 1 weeks leave you also have to purchase 1 weeks supplement over 52 weeks,this reduces your supplement.....I think.

So now, this supplement is not paid for 52 weeks it seems as promised before the vote. When we get to actually see the nitty gritty of this agreement, it seems there are strings attached ......... well, i never ...

ye thanks Fishtank that was what i was thinking, but it is the first time i have seen it, always been said, will be paid 52 weeks a year, nothing i have seen has mentioned this before hence the confusion, like i said always been, will be payed 52 weeks a year even when on hol etc
