Re: mgv driving allowance
Sounds like just your office.
At my place if you drive a high top for the odd day you get a daily alowance,if you drive it for over half the week,i think 3 days you are entitled to the full allowance.
But i have never seen an official doc on it,it may be in the way forward...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: mgv driving allowance
Ours stopped paying for the 3.2 vans a few years ago.......the slightly larger high top still gets the driving allowance. I've covered the duties with the larger vans but still never received payment. I think they like to baffle you with bullshit hoping you'll go away.

Re: mgv driving allowance
Is 3.2 the weight of the vehicle? It needs to be 3.5 tonnes or over for you to get the allowance.
