could someone tell me why we have the 2010 agreement again ,when every change in are office seems to be covered by p&M, just been told theres to be another 2 duties lapse next week under summer lapse,and another 2 van sharing duties ,I thought there was no budget motivated changes under 2010 but was told its under P&M.the only thing i see coming out of 2010 is the payment for d2d .would like to know whats in this agreement for us ?

Well there is unlimited D2D, later Saturday's, loss of D2D money and one hour of the full time staff working week at some distant time in future, maybe.

it would make you sick ,every other day theres something coming in ,something going out ,some sort of change and its under P&M so there is nothing you can do about it . we are told nothing in this office , when you ask the rep he doesnt know because the dom not speaking to him ,what a f--k up this is.

Let them collapse what they like! At the end of the day you start ON TIME. You prep your duty and you have your meal relief before departure. We still have in our office, people moaning to me about collapsing of walks etc and then when i ask where their meal relief was in their recount of the story all they do is shrug their shoulders and say, "well the gaffer said if we were ready early then they'd get us out nice and early so off we went..." You can't teach pork, as they say...

You only have to work to your time. This is in nearly all the shite RM put out. They want you to work the hours you are paid for. End of. Collapsing is supposed to stop you finishing before your time and make use of any spare capacity you have. If, however, you have sufficient work to take you to that time without additional work then you inform your manager of this fact. Just make sure that, in the event that they get the arse on and do a patrol you're not then caught stood at the bus stop or wherever 30 minutes before your finish time.

Absorbing was cancelled in our office this week. By Thursday they realised it was costing more to cover the work that came back in cut-offs than it would have cost just to cover the walks on overtime in the first place!
