Although I am not sure you can sideline anything that has no influence, you have to have influence to be sidelined, and to be sidelined you have to have influence. I don't think you can be sidelined if you have no influence as you cant reduce something that apparently does not exist.

NT is right it has gone quiet since the 2010 agreement but then there is always a hiatus after an agreement. Nothing has actually happened yet and no workshops, revisions et al have taken place.
As soon as the changes begin to bite and the new respect and understanding is proved to be so much hot air and wishful thinking then most are waiting to see how this will affect them. Don't forget that this is a 3 year deal and most of the pay and modernisation is for the future and not immediate.
