Well I got my letter today, ending 8 months of fun and games with Atos. I will be officially unemployed on the 29th May, my last day of service being the 28th May.
I am being ill health retired with immediate pension. after over 35 years service. So after starting as a Telegram boy for the GPO at the age of 16 , thats it then. Thank you Royal Mail and goodbye, I wont miss what you have become.

They can't do that, it'd be unfair dismissal. 
Although, I wouldn't put it past RM to find some other excuse to get rid of people with a bad sick record.

Thank you for all your good wishes, being a postman is all i`ve known. So yes in my blood, my dad did 50 years. Lol Andy this is a good result , i`ve got the the best I can out of the circumstances mate.
Time for me to get a motorhome and drive off into the sunset while Dvla still let me drive (they`ve. taken my C1 away already, lol)
