D2D Prep time?

I'm currently a leave reserve on 30hr contract, now I'm just wondering when 7th June d2ds kick in, lets say for arguments sake that the first lot of new d2d's is 5 for that week. Who preps the 16.6% a day? Is it me or a FTer? Can't seem to get any clarification on this in my DO.

If you're on a 30hr contract then you should be prepping your own mail and D2Ds.

If you are a 30hr P/Ter you have a 6hr day.

3.30 delivery 15mins trav 15mins pouching off and 30 mins meal relief that's 4.30.
So....you have 1.30 indoor work,now IF RM want the D2D prepped last which they appear to then you will do it in that 1.30.

Should be no more than 4 d2d on 7th June well that's what I have been led to believe.

Until their is a revision in each office the existing duty span stays,i just assumed his was 3.30.
From a H&S point of view our glorious leaders say that the trials INDICATE that 4hrs without a bag is better than 3.30 with one.
No-one seems to be able to get a copy of these trial H&S results though.

That depends on if that is worked into the revision. My feeling is that bag carriers (waysiders) should prep them as they are included, or will be, in the workload, so if they have to do it themselves it means less outdoor time.

I suppose a FT or even a PT can do it under the new system, if its in workload. After all nothing is ruled out and delivery spans are enablers, then as long as the time taken to prep is included in the duty of whoever is delegated to do it, then anyone can.
