BA BALLOT is ours valid?

hi all
first post here so here we go could our ballot be ruled invalid because the way our union informed us of the breakdown of the result is very very close to unites if not the same?

I don't know about anyone else but I saw no mention of spoilt ballot papers on the breakdown in my office and thats what BA has got them on

Different type of ballot our ballot was not for IA

Who would challange it RM and CWU both got what they wanted

discracefull actions of BA's management a sign of weak leadership ............................. unites members resolve can only strenghten in opposition to this jumped up jerk relying on the courts to bail him out and of course the cost must be outweighing any staff pay rises

if the high court rejects uintes appeal you would not need to chalenge it as the court has already ruled it as illegal

and if I'm not wrong unite and the cwu use the same legal framework ie they do a ballot the same as us

Totally different unites ballot was a legal ballot under the current Employment laws. Thats why BA was allowed to get an injuction.

Under the ballot we just had was a consultation ballot which has no legal requirements. in fact some unions simply have a Branch ballot which means each Branch votes on the agreement subject to what their members want and that aggregated across the union based on membership records. In fact the CWU and UCW used to use this system a lot on things like the attendance procdure and the other related ballots.

However the CWU have in recent years always gone for a indivdual member ballot. This is not a legal ballot and does not have the same requirements as such.

so was ours in the first ballot and the second ballots result had bearing on the first ie no plan b so first ballot srtike action would apply

News this morning was that the High Court have reuled the strike illegal.

the fact the never gave us a written agreement to look through , should be enough to call it invalid.
