surely it should be postponed till after general conference, managers will be left to do as they please. This needs to be considered! i'm away from the offfice for the next 2 weeks, the d2d problem should be at least put back to the first week of June. Thoughts please. Have they picked this time as reps will be away??

Door 2 Door guidelines will hopefully be agreed on Monday and sent out Tuesday or Wednesday.

Royal Mail want to go live on 7th June and pay the supplement and then lift the cap to a maximum of 4 . Not every office will get 4 thou it will be subject to contracts being booked.

At the moment payroll are having problems as they have to now change everyones grade as you no longer are just an opg you are either tagged to a delivery unit or a mail centre. So there are doubts on whether it can go live.

If it is agreed on Monday then there is over two weeks for local talks to take place on how to put door to door into workload in each office.

The aim is then in mid july to lift the cap to 5 items per week.

However in early July there will be a trial on 5 items in the North East and Scotland as some companies are concerned whether more unaddressed items dropping onto the mate my mean that there is less response to the products then there was previously.

Then on 6 Jan it will go to 6 items but only if your office has had a delivery methods revision.

The National review group will be meeting regularly and there will also be a divisional review.

There is no plans to go above 6 and Royal Mail`s plan is that when 6 items are in an area then the bussiness case for automation will kick in.

As you can see postman, this is what Dingo has posted, RM want to implement it by the 7th June , so the 2 weeks prior to that is when it will need to be discussed with the rep, all i'm saying is that alot of us will be in GC at that time so it seem alittle unfair.

Yes and work to your time! (or leave). We lost the vote we have to deal with it but we have a few attacking moves we can use.

I would do 20 D2D's,i would also jump through hoops if it's in the agreement,i won't work in the dark though unless my finishing time is say 6pm.
I will work my hrs and that's it.

Problem is Steviemac, the lessons of the 2007 agreement, and the way that agreement was manipulated have not been learnt and never will because initial greed will always be the deciding factor of these ballots and the company know this.

Everyone just works to their time. It's pretty simple. Let them give you 100 d2ds if they want. You can prep them into your frame till your time and then go hommmmmmmmmme! See<<<<<<<< It's easy. I won't be working one second over my contracted hours . My goodwill with Royal Mail left a long time ago. Btw the cwu? I called for a little advice on employment law regarding my other job. It was absolutely pathetic. Some woman passed me onto another woman who passed me onto another woman and then that woman hung up. I am now seriously considering leaving the union. I'm not having my hard earned money propping up those idiots anymore. Do they actually know it's us that pay their wages?
