Purchasing a LAPTOP through RM?

Anybody heard of this scheme where you can purcase a laptop and have the payments deducted from your pay? Is it through Royal Mail or a company in the Courier?
Any help much appreciated.

There was,i got one about 6 years ago but TBH it was bloody expensive although you didn't really miss the money straight from pay.

Get down to PC World and do some haggling, it's cheaper than RM deals.

Just liked the idea of deduction from pay, would hardly notice it gone. Thanks for the replies chaps.

I bought one as well. It was very expensive and the day after I had finished paying, it stopped working.

Likewise brother but still got mine and using it to communicate via RMC amongst others, and if I recall it did tally up to well over a grand although it has had a few crashes in it's time but luckily for me got a mate who is into computer wizardry and has tweeked it more than once for me. The then deal was through FUJITSU SIEMENS.

Mine which I'm still using worked out about £1200 through my wages, bloody expensive. Its a Dell and a replacement to my original one (2 new hard drives, new motherboard, 2 new screens), came with 3 years full warranty. When they replaced my first one they gave me another 3 year warranty which only ran out in March.
If anyone is looking for a new laptop and you have an Outlet Centre near you have a look to see if they have a Toshiba shop. I saw laptops at my local one last week priced from £169 with 160GB hard drives, all up to date, nearly bought one myself.
