Cut in the minimum wage.

Post by DGP1 »

Just seen on the news that Gordon Brown wants to change the rate of minimum wage in different areas of the UK.
ie. Northern Ireland drops to 4.80/hour and London goes up to 6.80/hour.

This Labour government seems to me to be worse than any Tory government. :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad

Old Conservative

and have you noticed how many Labour MPs now wear Blue ties. Back in the 70s and 80s you would never have seen so many. :no no :no no

Simple question # 1. How many votes in NI / Scottish Highlands / Welsh Valleys / areas of low population?

Simple question # 2. How many votes in London / Brum / Mancy / areas of high population?

Just a thought

Gordon wants to be business friendly , have you seen who he has appointed Sir Digby Jones former CBI boss " unions are increasingly irrelevant -tories more attuned to business -this govt has not had the courage to "reform" public services -the NMW should not go over £5 -a craven surrender on pensions " - I'm surprised he's not a H******* moderater or poster!. Apparently it's the "tent" style of govt . On the railway there was this " market " rate idea . He'll say in these cut throat service / contractor industries they are paying too much in high unemployment areas , doesn't surprise me at all, it's a sneaky chess game to him.
