For those contemplating taking cod liver oil tablets for their creaking aching joints, then beware.........DONT! i repeat DONT! BURP within a couple of hours, cause its feckin horrible Its like ...like blowin a seal , alledgedly..apparently, anyway be warned .

I think so , but i wouldnt want to not take them just in case....

Never tried "blowin a seal" so don't know but this sounds fishy to me!.

Yes mate, cod liver oil certainly helps with the aching joints, especially with the knees.
I've never taken the capsules though, i swig it out of the bottle ..

To repair and prevent damage to cartilage (in spine and knees) take glucosamine sulphate. Experimentally proven to rebuild and strengthen cartiladge.

btw Pinky you can overdose on Vit A with CLO it has high concentrations so beware!

There's the joke isn't there...

A penguin has his car taken to the garage after it broke down and the mechanic told the penguin to come back in an hour when he'd had a look at it properly.

The penguin goes into town to have a mooch around the shops and decides to buy himself an icecream. Of course, having no opposable thumbs, he can't hold it properly, and gets icecream all over himself.

I take glucosamine with fish oil capsules for my creaky joints and I have to say, I don't have fishy breath (or anything else) and they don't make my burp. I also make sure that I don't take anything with 100% RDA of vitamins A,D or E as they are fat soluble and the body can't get rid of them as easily, leading to overdose complications.
