Apparantly it has been said that there will be a 10 week delay at least for P&L as there is a shortage of bodies.
Something tells me they have tried to run before they can walk.

What will happen when P&L vans start breaking down ??? In the winter months, when , say , an office has 20 vans, and three go in for various repairs, what will happen ??? Thats 6 posties twiddling their thumbs !!!!!!

What happens when the Con LibDem pact thrusts a green / Carbon footprint TAX on each and every combustion engine? Park and loop will go down a storm and give them another reason to flog us off to TNT DHL.

Rumour are rife at our place.

Word round the camp fire is management have failed to find anywhere to park the 60 or so vans needed to operate park and loop. Management may be looking at the possibility of letting drivers take the vans home. Hmmm...

Alos hear rumours of a mass of people set to opt out of driving CDV's. Not sure if they will get enough people to do it or how they will work P&L into lieu days and spontaneous sick leave etc...was always going to be a problem when you take the focus away from working alone and place it on team working.

Can someone please explain to me how Park and Loop is going to save money on a scale that makes it financially viable in both the short term and long term? Our DOM says that a CDV is cheaper to maintain that a Bicycle...

Have RM performed cost/benefit analysis tasks or are they still doing this/yet to do this?

Of cause we dont have any piss heads who would love to smash a few windows or slash a few tyres here

The one thing they dont seem to have grasped and the real problem is if you cant fit them in overnight how the f*ck are you going to load them all in a 45 minute span?

How long before some savvy tealeaf spots a pattern forming?
Same time every day van pulls up, parks at the same place, out pop 2 posties, off they go on their merry way.
Hmmm there sits a van full to the rafters with lovely letters and packets, now what self respecting theif could live with themselves
if they didn't take up the challenge? They wouldn't be able to live with themselves.

Course its true !! She put a greivance in a while ago - the manager who said it (I know he did 100%) denies all knowledge, but yet the DOM has put her onto stage 3 because he wrote `there is enough doubt to suggest it wasnt an accident coz she finished her round after the accident`...Hasnt heard anything back yet

ours are coming in soon, can't wait. No driving to work and using my own petrol, we get to take the van home so that's money saved straight away. Plenty of parking at our office and an extra space on the drive.

There you go, a positive post amongst all the doom mongers. Obviously though i'm an idiot, i'll lose my no claims when I have an accident in the works van etc etc (how many people in this country have company cars, wake up!), walks will be 5 hours long, blah blah blah.

Driving to the frst point wont save time as were in the centre of a huge city.

How can you fit oversized drivers packets into a golf trolley?

Surely parking will be a problem, especially in cities.

I want to claim the driver doesnt. how do i get back to the DO?
